A wonderful hot spring inn in the mountains! I love the atmosphere and ♨️ of this inn! An elegant large bath, a spacious private bath, and a maze-like cave bath. All the baths are amazing and you spend more time soaking in the water than in your room. I stayed in Senzan and Senkyo rooms, both of which were spacious and relaxing, with a fusion of Japanese and Western style. The atmosphere of the room is also nice! Access to the inn from Nagano Station is less than 10,000 yen by taxi, and less than 2,000 yen from Suzaka Station. Recently, there have been an increase in the number of beautiful and stylish inns, but the atmosphere here is on a different level.

As soon as you arrive, customer service begins, and all the employees warmly welcome you, paying close attention to every detail. Even when I went inside, I was overwhelmed by the wonderful customer service. The hot springs are rock baths (mixed bathing) separated by gender, but you can enter wearing shorts and bath clothes. There are four family baths, and you can bathe from check-in until check-out time.

My family and I visit once a year. Every time I visit, I discover something new, such as the beauty of the flowers and decorations that decorate the roadside from the parking lot to the inn and the interior of the hotel. The natural expression is different, so I never get tired of it. This is an inn where you can enjoy the leisurely flow of time and delicious seasonal cuisine, listening to the murmuring of the river and the occasional chirping of birds, reading a book in the library space, and more. In recent years, Wi-Fi has been introduced that can only be used near the library space. With the ability to pay by credit card I think the way we spend our time has become more diverse. You can stay in the bath all night, and it will be cleaned between 11am and 1pm the next day. Check-in is at 3pm, so if you're staying for multiple nights, you'll have a better chance of getting into the private bath quickly. (This is my personal opinion) The large public bath also has an open-air bath, so you can warm up while enjoying the changing seasons. The guest rooms are a fusion of Japanese and Western styles, and are divided into large tatami spaces and Western-style rooms. Western antique sofas are comfortable and stylish. I love the pickles and persimmon leaf tea that are in the refrigerator in my room when I check in, so I always eat them. To get to the private bath, you will have to take some stairs, so please visit while your legs are still strong enough to move around... (It seemed possible to use an elevator from the guest room to the dinner venue on the first day.) Each private bath is equipped with a washcloth, towels, bath towels, hair dryer, comb, lotion, emulsion, and cleansing/facial wash. If you suddenly feel like taking a bath while exploring the facility, you can do so by yourself. The photo shows the warm udon (small serving), menu, and Western-style dinner we had at the attached cafe "Yagura" for lunch on our second night. (For consecutive nights, you can choose Japanese or Western food for dinner on the second day.) On this day, there were three main types: Wagyu beef, deer, and golden gamecock, and I chose deer. The other family members chose wagyu beef and gamecock, so we had to share a little bit of each, but all of them were delicious and no matter what you chose, you were right...I'm glad the three of us went... If the food came out all at once, I would probably feel full. Maybe it's because they take their time and bring out each item one by one. I never felt like I was too full to eat during the meal. Even if I have never eaten or heard of ingredients before, they will explain them to me in detail when they bring them to me, so I am learning a lot. Thank you for always providing a wonderful environment. Please let me stay again next year...!

I've passed by often, but this is my first time staying here. Inside the building/ The outside has a Japanese-style atmosphere, but the inside has a Western-style atmosphere. It's very spacious, with lounges set up everywhere and plenty of books to help you relax. There is also a lounge with a free capsule coffee maker. The building is quite elaborate and exploring the inside is really interesting. Indoor/ This is also elaborately made. The furniture also has a luxurious feel. The rooms are also well cleaned. The garden is beautiful and the space is relaxing. Some rooms have hot springs. hot spring· Cave baths seem to be extremely popular with small children and foreigners. However, it may be difficult for the elderly. There are also four private hot springs available for use, all of which are luxurious and include an outdoor bath and an indoor bath. The journey to the private bath is also fun. cooking· More and more elaborate dishes are coming out. The main fish are freshwater fish such as rockfish and sweetfish. You can also choose game meat. Also, the interior design of the hearth and the garden outside are wonderful. However, it takes about 2 hours in total, so children might get bored with it, and although they provide explanations, I would like a quality guide. Customer service/ Exceptionally good! It feels like it's very thorough. Also, I think this differs from person to person, but there were many people without masks, and I could see them smiling, which personally was very good. I think it's worth the price.

You can only use the ``Sabo Yagura'' attached to the inn. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, they guided us around. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. Once inside, you are in another world. Carp swim gracefully in the hot spring... The store has a nice retro interior... You will definitely experience something out of the ordinary. I had tarte tatin and royal milk tea. This tarte tatin was round and cute ♡ Of course, the tea was also delicious. The horse chestnut karinto that was served with it was also delicious! It's definitely a place I want to go to again. I would like to stay the night next time (^^)

In conclusion, I won't go there again. ・The rice is not particularly delicious. There is no menu, so I can't grasp the pace of the meal as a whole, and I don't understand the contents. The rice is not cooked in a gas oven. Salt-grilled sweetfish was served, but it was farmed and didn't have the flavor of sweetfish. It's nice to have peaches for dessert after a meal with the skin on, but the hair on the skin is not treated and the texture is bad. Regarding the peach mousse, another dessert, there was no peach taste or aroma, making me wonder what I was eating. I had informed them in advance that I had an allergy to raw shellfish, so when I checked in on the day, I was told that they would provide me with cooked shrimp, but neither raw nor cooked shrimp would be served. The mystery that didn't exist The grated radish is not grated using a grater and has a bad texture. Sorry for the bad language, but I get the impression that you are an amateur when it comes to cooking. ・Noisy as there are many people with children I think it would be fun to come with 3 generations of parents and children, but it's not for people who want to relax. ・There is room for improvement in how private baths are operated. Since the bath mat is not cleaned every time, it is normal for the bath mat to be soaked. Used facial sheet masks were left curled up on the shelf. When I came out of the private bath, two people were waiting in front of the door and I didn't feel well. ・The staff was very responsive, and the building and grounds were well-cleaned and felt nice. But I'm not going anymore... I don't understand the reason for everyone's high ratings 😭

I have stayed at various hot spring inns, but this is the best! Their attention to detail on how to make their customers feel relaxed is perfect! …
